SACRAMENTO, CA – Assembly Bill 150, authored by Assemblymember Jim Cooper (D-Elk Grove), was approved today by the California State Assembly. The bill seeks to improve high school graduation rates and post-secondary education success for foster youth and other highly-mobile youth.

SACRAMENTO, CA – In a ceremony today, Assemblymember Jim Cooper (D-Elk Grove), presented City of Sacramento officials with a $750,000 check that will help fund Sacramento’s Summer Night Lights Program, which provides greater opportunities and after-school programs for at-risk youth and underserved families in South Sacramento.
LODI, CA – In a ceremony today, Assemblymember Jim Cooper (D-Elk Grove), presented City of Lodi officials with a $500,000 check that will help pay for much-needed cybersecurity upgrades to the City of Lodi’s infrastructure. The money was allocated after Cooper organized and led an effort for the funding to be included in this year’s California 2019-2020 State Budget.
