Sexual assault law signed by Gov. Brown expands safety net
Victims now have better access to resources
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KCRA) —Sexual assault victims now have a better guarantee to get the help they need through the Sexual Assault Resource Team.
"I don't think it's necessarily gonna make them feel safer," said assemblyman Jim Cooper of Elk Grove. "When it happens, you've got a team that's put together that's worked together and that will respond and deal with it."
