(Sacramento) – With confetti raining down and a huge crowd cheering, the three men from Sacramento who stopped an attack on a train in France last month were honored with a parade that ended with a massive rally on the steps of the State Capitol. Sacramento area Assemblymember Jim Cooper (D-Elk Grove) joined Speaker Toni G. Atkins (D-San Diego) and others as they praised U.S. Airman Spencer Stone, Oregon National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos and Anthony Sadler for their bravery and courage. “I’m just very proud. Very Proud. Very humbled. Very honored to be in their presence,” said Assemblymember Cooper. Here’s more from the Hometown Heroes Parade in this Assembly Access video.
